Wave-Pro (Wave Pro) is the
highest-performance 60 GHz PtP and PtMP radio in the Wave product lineup — combining a
46 dBi high-gain antenna with 1.3° × 1.3° ultra-precision beamwidth, triple-port connectivity, and Wave Technology to deliver 5.4 Gbps throughput at PtP ranges up to 15 km and PtMP ranges up to 8 km across East African mission-critical wireless backhaul deployments. Measuring
⌀424.4 × 166.2 mm (⌀16.7 × 6.5") and weighing
2.8 kg (6.2 lb) without or 4 kg (8.8 lb) with mount, the Wave-Pro features an
aluminium alloy and UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure with stainless steel mount and IPX6 weatherproofing, supporting pole diameters of
25–76.2 mm (1–3"). An
ergonomic transportation handle and
precision alignment mount are included for professional field installation. Powered by a
Quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 at 1.4 GHz with 512 MB memory. Requires
UISP version 2.3.0 and later. Supports

The
60 GHz main radio operates across
57–71 GHz worldwide with channel bandwidths of
2160, 1080, and 540 MHz and
16QAM and QPSK modulation. The
46 dBi vertically-linear polarised antenna with 1.3° × 1.3° beamwidth — the tightest beam in the Wave lineup alongside the Wave Long-Range — concentrates maximum RF energy for 15 km PtP links and extended 8 km PtMP connections across East Africa's challenging terrain. The
5 GHz WiFi 6 (802.11ax) backup radio with
22 dBi dual-linear polarised antenna, 8° × 8° beamwidth, and 20 dB cross-pol isolation — matching the Wave Long-Range's backup radio specification — ensures link continuity during East Africa's tropical rain events and atmospheric disruptions. Triple-port WAN connectivity via
(2) 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports and (1) 10G SFP+ port provides maximum flexibility for integration into diverse backhaul infrastructure.
WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption secures all wireless links.
Integrated GPS enables precise positioning and GPS synchronisation.
