Wave Pico

The Wave-Pico (Wave Pico) is a lightweight, compact 60 GHz PtP and PtMP wireless station powered by Wave Technology — delivering 2 Gbps throughput with a 5 GHz WiFi 6 backup radio in the most compact and lowest-power Wave client station in the lineup. Measuring ⌀152.1 × 55.8 mm (⌀6 × 2.2") and weighing just 347 g (12.2 oz) without or 409 g (14.4 oz) with mount, the Wave-Pico features a UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure and mount with IPX6 weatherproofing, supporting pole diameters of 20–53.1 mm (0.8–2.1"). Powered by a Dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 at 1 GHz with 512 MB memory at just 10W maximum power consumption. Supports PtP and PtMP station operating modes with bridge and router mode networking. Requires UISP web version 2.4.61 and later and UISP mobile iOS version 2.32.0 and later.

The 60 GHz main radio operates across 57–71 GHz worldwide with channel bandwidths of 2160, 1080, and 540 MHz and 16QAM and QPSK modulation. The 27.7 dBi vertically-linear polarised antenna with 6° azimuth and 6° elevation beamwidth delivers precise directional coverage for compact installation at residential and building rooftop locations. The 5 GHz WiFi 6 (802.11ax) backup radio with 9 dBi dual-linear polarised antenna and wide 50° × 50° beamwidth with 15 dB cross-pol isolation maintains connectivity during 60 GHz signal disruption and East African tropical weather events. WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption secures all wireless links.
