About the LTU Rocket
The LTU-Rocket (LTU Rocket) is a 5 GHz PtMP LTU base station radio incorporating Ubiquiti's proprietary LTU technology — breaking through the limitations of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi to deliver superior performance, 100+ client capacity, and 900+ Mbps throughput from a single base station serving East African WISP subscriber networks. In a compact diecast aluminium and polycarbonate enclosure measuring 244 × 82 × 48 mm (9.6 × 3.2 × 1.9") weighing 468 g (1 lb), the LTU-Rocket features an integrated pole mount, GPS pole mount kit included, and is Rocket mount compatible. IP67 weatherproofing. Operating temperature: -40°C to 55°C (-40°F to 131°F). Fully NDAA compliant. Compatible with LTU devices only — LTU-Pro, LTU-Lite, and LTU-LR as subscriber stations.

Channel bandwidth of 10/20/30/40/50/60/80/100 MHz with configurable uplink/downlink ratio (25/75, 33/67, 50/50) and independent TX and RX channel frequency configurations for local interference avoidance. Integrated GPS synchronisation enables multi-sector co-location without inter-sector interference. Proprietary RF filtering delivers superior interference rejection. 2+ Mpps processing. Software features include airView, speed test, alignment, discovery, ping, traceroute, cable test, constellation, auto distance and power adjustment, SNMP, SSH, dynamic DNS, remote log, ping watchdog, Bluetooth management via UISP App. WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption.
