The
LTU-Lite (LTU Lite) is a
compact 5 GHz PtMP LTU subscriber station combining Ubiquiti's proprietary LTU technology — supporting 1024 QAM for superior performance over standard 802.11 Wi-Fi — with an ultra-compact, lightweight form factor suited to rapid urban and suburban subscriber installations across East African WISP networks. Measuring just
153 × 84 × 39.5 mm (6 × 3.3 × 1.6") and weighing
250 g (8.8 oz) in a
UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure with included
pole and wall mount kit.
IPX5 weatherproofing.
200 km/h wind survivability with 20 N wind loading.
±24 kV air/contact ESD/EMP protection.
Operating temperature: -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F). Fully
NDAA compliant.
Compatible with LTU devices only.
The
LTU-Lite operates across
5150–5875 MHz worldwide delivering
900+ Mbps maximum throughput (FW 2.3.0 and later) over 10+ km links with
13 dBi integrated antenna gain, 45° HPOL/VPOL/elevation beamwidth, 20 dB cross-pol isolation, dual-linear polarization, and 22 dBm maximum conducted TX power per chain.
Channel bandwidth of 10/20/30/40/50/60/80/100 MHz allows independent TX and RX channel frequency configurations to avoid local interference.
Configurable uplink/downlink ratio (25/75, 33/67, 50/50). Software features include
airView, speed test, alignment, discovery, ping, traceroute, cable test, constellation, auto distance and power adjustment, Bluetooth management via UISP App, SNMP, SSH, dynamic DNS, remote log, ping watchdog.
WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption.
Additional specifications:
- CE, FCC, and IC certified, fully NDAA compliant
Ideal for
WISP urban and suburban subscriber installations, ISP CPE deployments, short to medium range PtMP coverage, cost-effective LTU subscriber rollout, and wireless deployments across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the wider East and Central Africa region requiring
compact 5 GHz LTU CPE performance with 13 dBi gain, 900+ Mbps throughput, 10+ km range, IPX5 weatherproofing, and LTU Rocket base station compatibility.
