EdgeRouter X

The ER-X (EdgeRouter X) is an ultra-compact advanced Gigabit router delivering cost-effective routing performance with 24V passive PoE flexibility in one of the smallest EdgeRouter form factors available. Measuring just 110 × 75 × 22 mm (4.3 × 3 × 0.9") and weighing only 175 g (6.2 oz), the ER-X supports wall mounting and can be powered via included 12V DC adapter or 24V passive PoE — enabling deployment wherever a PoE source is available without requiring a separate power outlet. Powered by a dual-core 880 MHz MIPS1004Kc processor with 256 MB DDR3 RAM and 256 MB NAND flash storage. The EdgeOS operating system provides advanced routing, security, and management features.

The ER-X provides (3) GbE RJ45 ports plus (1) GbE RJ45 PoE data/input port and (1) GbE RJ45 PoE passthrough output port — enabling the router to receive power via PoE and pass it through to a connected PoE device such as an access point without requiring a separate PoE injector.
