EP-R6 (EdgePoint R6) is a
compact application-specific WISP outdoor control point delivering Layer 3 routing with 24V passive PoE output on all five RJ45 ports and 1G SFP connectivity in a lightweight weatherproof pole-mount enclosure — the most compact EdgePoint control point in the lineup. Measuring
188.6 × 177.1 × 49.8 mm (7.4 × 7 × 2") and weighing just
605 g (1.3 lb), the EP-R6 features a
UV-resistant polycarbonate enclosure with pole mount and
46 N wind loading at 200 km/h with 200 km/h wind survivability. Powered by a
dual-core 880 MHz MIPS1004Kc processor with 256 MB DDR3-1600 RAM and 256 MB NAND storage. Extreme
-40°C to 65°C operating temperature.
Power input via
(1) DC terminal block (24V DC, 3A) with self-correcting polarity protection and optional
24V passive PoE input on eth0 (4-pair, 1.4A) — note: do NOT configure eth0 in PoE output mode if using PoE input. PoE output on
all five ports (eth0–eth4) at 24V/0.7A 2-pair passive PoE. Power monitoring via
DC terminal block and eth0 input power.
Supported voltage range: 16–26V DC.
