high-performance fanless Gigabit router bringing disruptive pricing to carrier-grade and enterprise routing performance across East Africa. With a
50% increase in performance compared to the EdgeRouter Pro, the ER-4 delivers the routing capacity East African ISP and enterprise networks demand. Measuring
229 × 136.5 × 31.1 mm (9 × 5.4 × 1.2") and weighing
795 g (1.8 lb), the ER-4 supports
wall or rack mounting for flexible deployment. Powered by a
four-core 1 GHz MIPS64 processor with 1 GB DDR3 RAM and 4 GB eMMC plus 8 MB SPI NOR on-board flash storage, the ER-4 paired with the
feature-rich EdgeOS makes it a versatile tool for both carrier-grade and enterprise networks.
The
ER-4 provides
(3) GbE RJ45 ports (10/100/1000) and
(1) 1G SFP port for flexible copper and fibre connectivity. Management is available via
(1) RJ45 serial port and (4) Ethernet ports.
±24kV ESD/EMP protection on both air and contact safeguards the router and connected equipment.
