The
NS-5AC (airMAX NanoStation 5AC) is a
UISP-supported 5 GHz wireless radio purpose-built for ISP customer premises and PtP link deployments across East Africa — combining an integrated 16 dBi antenna, dual GbE ports with secondary LAN PoE out, dedicated spectral analysis radio, and dedicated WiFi management radio in an ultra-compact, pole and wall-mountable form factor. Measuring
257 × 84 × 41 mm without mount (10.1 × 3.3 × 1.6") and weighing just
233 g (8.2 oz) in a
UV-resistant plastic enclosure, the NS-5AC ships with
pole and wall mounting kits included.
±24 kV air/contact ESD/EMP protection.
Operating temperature: -40°C to 70°C (-40°F to 158°F). Fully
NDAA compliant.
The
NS-5AC operates across
5150–5875 MHz worldwide delivering
450+ Mbps throughput over 15+ km links with
16 dBi integrated antenna gain and 45° beamwidth (H-pol / V-pol / elevation).
20 dB minimum cross-pol isolation and 1.6:1 maximum VSWR with
dual-linear polarization.
Channel bandwidths of 10/20/30/40/50/60/80 MHz. The
secondary LAN port with PoE out support enables the NS-5AC to power a downstream device (such as a customer router or access point) via the second GbE port — eliminating the need for a separate PoE injector at the customer premises, reducing installation complexity across East African ISP deployments. Dual power input supports
PoE alternative A (44–54V DC) and passive PoE 2-pair (22–27V DC) at 9W maximum.
Additional specifications:
- Power, Ethernet, and (4) signal strength LEDs
- CE, FCC, and IC certified, fully NDAA compliant
Ideal for
ISP customer premises deployments, building-to-building links, enterprise wireless backhaul, last-mile access, and remote site connectivity across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the wider East and Central Africa region requiring
5 GHz 450+ Mbps CPE performance with 16 dBi gain, dual GbE ports, secondary LAN PoE out, dedicated spectral analysis, and WiFi management radio.
