AF60-XG (airFiber 60 XG) is a
multi-gigabit 60 GHz PtP bridge certified by Terragraph — delivering up to 6 Gbps maximum throughput with channel bonding enabled across links of up to 4 km, with a 5 GHz backup radio and dual GbE/10G SFP+ connectivity for flexible East African wireless backhaul deployments. Measuring
779 × 664 × 383 mm (30.68 × 26.14 × 15.06") and weighing
8.6 kg (19 lb) without or 13 kg (28.7 lb) with mount, the AF60-XG features a
UV-stabilised polycarbonate and steel enclosure with galvanised steel precision alignment mount compatible with poles of
40–80 mm outer diameter. Powered by a
Quad-Core ARM® Cortex® A72 at 1.6 GHz with 2 GB DDR4 memory — the highest-performance processor in the 60 GHz lineup. Operates in
PtP mode only. Requires
UISP web version 1.4.3 and later, UISP iOS and Android version 2.19 and later.
The
60 GHz main radio operates across
57–66 GHz with standard
2160 MHz channel bandwidth or 4320 MHz with channel bonding enabled — unlocking the full 6 Gbps throughput capability.
Vertically-linear polarised antenna with 1.6° × 1.6° beamwidth provides precise long-distance targeting. The
5 GHz backup radio with
5° × 5° dual-linear beamwidth maintains connectivity during rain fade. Dual ports —
(1) GbE RJ45 and (1) 1/10G SFP+ port — enable flexible uplink to core infrastructure.
WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption with
GPS synchronisation and Bluetooth management.
