The U7 Long-Range (U7-LR) is a compact, ceiling-mount WiFi 7 access point designed for extended-range wireless deployments. This dual-band WiFi 7 AP features 5 spatial streams (3x3 MU-MIMO on 5 GHz, 2x2 on 2.4 GHz) delivering up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW160) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). The integrated antennas provide 6 dBi gain (5 GHz) and 4 dBi gain (2.4 GHz) for 160 m² (1,750 ft²) coverage with extended signal range.
The U7 Long-Range supports 300+ simultaneous connected devices with 802.11be (WiFi 7) and backward compatibility with WiFi 6/5/4 standards. Enhanced TX power of 27 dBm (5 GHz) and 26 dBm (2.4 GHz) provides extended range for challenging environments with high ceilings or large open spaces. PoE powered (42.5-57V DC, 14W max) enables efficient deployment with 2.5 GbE RJ45 uplink. Compact dimensions of Ø175.7 x 43 mm (Ø6.9 x 1.7") and lightweight 448 g (15.8 oz) design simplify installation.
Operating temperature range of -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F) and 5-95% humidity tolerance support diverse installation environments. Advanced features include wireless meshing, band steering, 802.11v/r/k support, Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0), captive portal, PPSK, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and 8 BSSIDs per radio. Channel bandwidth support includes HT 20/40, VHT 20/40/80/160, HE 20/40/80/160, EHT 20/40/80/160 MHz. Plastic mounting plate included with polycarbonate and aluminum alloy construction. UniFi Network version 9.1.120+ provides centralized management.
