UP-FloodLight (UniFi Floodlight) is a
PoE-powered, motion-triggered LED floodlight delivering automated outdoor lighting fully integrated with the UniFi Protect ecosystem — enabling coordinated lighting and surveillance responses across East African properties from a single management platform. Measuring
135 × 65 × 50 mm (5.3 × 2.6 × 2") and weighing
216 g (7.6 oz) without mount or 273 g (9.6 oz) with angle mount, the UP-FloodLight features a
polycarbonate and aluminium alloy enclosure with polycarbonate flat wall and angle mounts included.
IPX5 weatherproofing enables permanent outdoor installation across East Africa's variable weather conditions. Managed via
UniFi Protect web and mobile apps.
The
UP-FloodLight delivers
550 lumens of intense LED illumination triggered by
built-in motion detection — automatically lighting entrances, driveways, and perimeters when movement is detected, deterring intruders and supporting night-time surveillance camera performance simultaneously.
PoE powered at 12.95W maximum (48V DC, 0.22A) via a
10/100 MbE RJ45 port — no separate power outlet required, simplifying installation wherever Ethernet cabling is already present.
Bluetooth 4.0 enables instant setup via the UniFi mobile app.
±8kV ESD/EMP protection on both air and contact safeguards against electrical surges in outdoor East African environments.
