The
NBE-2AC-13 (airMAX NanoBeam 2AC 13) is a
UISP-ready 2.4 GHz wireless radio providing a cost-effective PtP bridge and PtMP CPE solution for East African ISPs and enterprise deployments where 2.4 GHz spectrum availability or penetration characteristics are preferred over 5 GHz. Measuring
189 × 189 × 125 mm (7.4 × 7.4 × 4.9") and weighing
530 g (1.2 lb) in a
UV-stabilised plastic enclosure, the NBE-2AC-13 ships with a
pole mount kit included — wall mount and window mount are compatible but not included.
200 km/h wind survivability with 45.4 N wind loading.
±24 kV air/contact ESD/EMP protection. Environmental testing includes salt fog, vibration, temperature shock, UV, and wind-driven rain.
Operating temperature: -40°C to 80°C (-40°F to 176°F). Fully
NDAA compliant.
The
NBE-2AC-13 operates across
2412–2472 MHz worldwide delivering
150+ Mbps throughput over 15+ km links with
13 dBi integrated antenna gain, dual-linear polarization, and 1.5:1 maximum VSWR.
PtP and PtMP channel sizes of 10/20/40 MHz. The
dedicated spectral analysis radio enables real-time 2.4 GHz RF environment monitoring and the
dedicated WiFi management radio (5150–5250 MHz worldwide) enables UISP mobile app management via the 5 GHz band — keeping 2.4 GHz entirely free for the main link. Powered via
passive PoE 2-pair at 7.5W maximum (20–27V DC) with included
24V, 0.5A gigabit PoE adapter.
Power, Ethernet, and (4) signal strength LEDs.
Additional specifications:
- CE, FCC, and IC certified, fully NDAA compliant
Ideal for
2.4 GHz PtMP subscriber access, ISP CPE deployments, rural broadband coverage, building-to-building links, and wireless deployments across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the wider East and Central Africa region requiring
2.4 GHz 13 dBi bridge/CPE performance with 15+ km range, 150+ Mbps throughput, dedicated spectral analysis, and 5 GHz management radio.
