The GBE-Plus (airMAX GigaBeam Plus) is a compact high-gain 60 GHz PtP radio featuring a Cassegrain reflector antenna — delivering 1.5+ Gbps low-latency throughput at ranges up to 1.5+ km in an exceptionally compact and lightweight form factor. Measuring just Ø155 × 137 mm (Ø6.1 × 5.4") and weighing 1 kg (2.2 lb), the GBE-Plus features a UV-resistant polycarbonate and stainless steel enclosure with metal mount. Powered by a Quad-Core ARM® Cortex® A7 with 256 MB DDR3 memory at just 11W maximum power consumption. The ±24kV ESD/EMP protection on both air and contact safeguards equipment against lightning and electrical surges in East African outdoor environments. Supports PtP master and station operating modes. Bluetooth management at 2400–2483.5 MHz enables instant setup and configuration via the UISP mobile application.
