Ø155 × 137 mm (Ø6.1 × 5.4") and weighing
1 kg (2.2 lb), the GBE-Plus features a
UV-resistant polycarbonate and stainless steel enclosure with metal mount. Powered by a
Quad-Core ARM® Cortex® A7 with 256 MB DDR3 memory at just
11W maximum power consumption. The
±24kV ESD/EMP protection on both air and contact safeguards equipment against lightning and electrical surges in East African outdoor environments. Supports
PtP master and station operating modes.
Bluetooth management at 2400–2483.5 MHz enables instant setup and configuration via the UISP mobile application.
The
60 GHz Cassegrain reflector radio operates across
57,000–66,000 MHz with
2160 MHz channel bandwidth at operating channels
58320, 60480, 62640, and 64800 MHz. The
vertically-polarised Cassegrain reflector delivers a precise
2° (-3 dB) and 3° (-6 dB) azimuth and elevation beamwidth — concentrating 60 GHz energy for maximum throughput and interference rejection at short-to-medium ranges.
