ultra-compact dual-radio 60 GHz and 5 GHz PtP bridge — delivering 1+ Gbps wireless backhaul at 300+ m in one of the smallest and lightest outdoor radio form factors available. Measuring just
Ø140 × 44 mm (Ø5.5 × 1.7") and weighing only
376 g (13.3 oz), the GBE features a
UV-resistant polycarbonate enclosure with integrated 60 GHz and 5 GHz radios. Powered by a
Quad-core ARM® Cortex® A7 with 256 MB DDR3 memory at just
11W maximum power consumption. The
±24kV ESD/EMP protection on air and contact safeguards all connected equipment. Operates in
PtP mode via bridge mode. Managed via the
UISP application (web and mobile).
The integrated
60 GHz radio delivers
1+ Gbps maximum throughput at 300+ m range with
WPA2 AES encryption. The
5 GHz backup radio maintains connectivity during 60 GHz signal disruption — essential for reliable East African outdoor deployments in variable weather. Both radios are fully integrated internally with no external antenna connectors required, simplifying installation.
Advanced software features include:
- UISP integration, ping watchdog, SSH server, NTP client, system log, and device discovery
- Antenna alignment tool, discovery utility, traceroute, and speed test utilities
