The
UVC-G6-INS-W (G6 Instant) is a
plug-and-play 4K WiFi-connected surveillance camera bringing flagship AI analytics — including face recognition and license plate recognition — to completely wireless, cable-free deployments across East Africa. Measuring
81.7 × 50.1 × 57.2 mm (3.2 × 2 × 2.3") and weighing
180 g (6.3 oz), the G6 Instant features a
polycarbonate enclosure and mount, ships with a
wall mount accessory and 2 m (6.6 ft) USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable with thermoplastic elastomer jacket, and is powered by the included
5V, 2A USB adapter or optionally via a
PoE to USB-C adapter (not included). The built-in
MicroSD card expansion slot enables local recording independent of network connectivity. Powered by a
Quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 based chip.
The
G6 Instant captures
4K (8MP) video at 3840 × 2160 (16:9) at 30 FPS using a flagship
1/1.8" 8MP sensor — the same large-format sensor found in UniFi's professional PoE camera lineup — with an
ultra-wide field of view of H: 109.9°, V: 56.7°, D: 134.1° for comprehensive room and entrance coverage.
HDR mode handles challenging East African lighting with simultaneous bright and shadowed areas.
6 m (20 ft) IR night vision ensures clear footage in darkness. The
Multi-TOPS AI Engine delivers
face recognition, license plate recognition, and smart detections for people, vehicles, and animals — bringing enterprise-grade forensic analytics to wireless deployments.
Integrated two-way audio enables live communication from the camera location.
