compact, wide-angle WiFi-connected 2K surveillance camera delivering professional UniFi Protect features with completely wireless, cable-free deployment — ideal for East African locations where running Ethernet cabling is impractical or impossible. Measuring
81.6 × 50 × 47.2 mm (3.2 × 2 × 1.9") and weighing just
125 g (4.4 oz) without mount or 163 g (5.8 oz) with mount, the G4 Instant features a
polycarbonate enclosure and mount and ships with a wall mount accessory and a
2 m (6.6 ft) USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable with thermoplastic elastomer jacket. Powered by a
Dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A7 based chip via the included
5V, 2A USB power adapter or optionally via an
Instant PoE to USB adapter (not included).
The
G4 Instant captures

5MP CMOS sensor with a fixed focal length lens (EFL 2.8 mm, ƒ/1.6) and an

6 m (20 ft) IR night vision ensures clear footage in dark conditions.
AI smart detections for people, vehicles, and animals enable intelligent event-based recording.
Integrated two-way audio enables real-time communication from the camera location.
UniFi WiFi Auto-Link simplifies setup to a single step — no manual WiFi configuration required when deploying alongside existing UniFi WiFi infrastructure.
