Ultra 60W

The USW-Ultra-60W (Ultra 60W) is a compact, Layer 2 managed Gigabit PoE switch delivering professional switching and PoE power delivery in an exceptionally versatile and space-efficient package. Measuring 203 × 76 × 33 mm (8 × 3 × 1.3") and weighing just 320 g (11.3 oz), the USW-Ultra-60W supports desktop, wall, and magnetic mounting — adapting to virtually any installation environment across East Africa, from server cabinet walls to under-desk magnetic attachment. The polycarbonate enclosure with included wall mount and AC adapter makes deployment straightforward. Requires UniFi Network version 8.0.7 and later.

The USW-Ultra-60W provides (7) GbE RJ45 PoE+ output ports (1G/100M/10M) at up to 30W per port and (1) GbE RJ45 port with optional PoE++ input — enabling the switch itself to be powered from a PoE++ source without requiring a separate power adapter. Total PoE availability varies by power input method — 52W with the included 60W AC adapter, 42W with PoE++ input, 202W with an optional 210W AC adapter — providing flexibility to scale PoE budget as deployment requirements grow. Switching capacity of 16 Gbps with 8 Gbps total non-blocking throughput and 12 Mpps forwarding rate ensures wire-speed performance across all ports simultaneously.

The comprehensive Layer 2 feature set includes STP and RSTP for loop prevention, egress rate limiting, flow control, storm control, multicast and broadcast rate limiting, port isolation, port mirroring, jumbo frames, and loop protection — providing enterprise-grade switching management in a compact desktop form factor. 256 supported VLANs and a 4,000 MAC address table support complex network segmentation requirements across small and medium East African business deployments.
