Standard 48 PoE (USW-48-POE)

The USW-48-POE (Standard 48 PoE) is a 1U rack-mount Layer 2 managed Gigabit PoE switch combining high-port-count PoE power delivery with completely silent fanless operation across 48 ports — purpose-built for East African enterprise environments where network density, PoE availability, and acoustic performance all matter. Measuring 442 × 285 × 44 mm (17.4 × 11.2 × 1.7") and weighing 4.5 kg (10 lb) without or 4.6 kg (10.2 lb) with mounting brackets, the USW-48-POE features an SGCC steel enclosure and mount, a 1.3" touchscreen LCM display, ±16kV/±12kV ESD protection, and supports rack depths of 400–1,200 mm (15.7–47.2"). Requires UniFi Network version 7.2.94 and later.

The USW-48-POE provides (32) GbE RJ45 PoE+ ports at up to 32W per port and (16) GbE RJ45 non-PoE ports with 195W total PoE availability — simultaneously powering dozens of access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones, and IoT devices across large East African enterprise and campus deployments. (4) 1G SFP uplink ports provide flexible fibre or copper uplink connectivity to core switching infrastructure. Switching capacity of 104 Gbps with 52 Gbps non-blocking throughput and 77 Mpps forwarding rate ensures wire-speed performance across all 48 ports simultaneously.
