airMAX Rocket AC Lite

The R5AC-Lite (airMAX Rocket 5AC Lite) is an affordable 5 GHz airMAX AC basestation radio providing high-throughput PtMP and PtP wireless performance with external antenna flexibility across East African WISP and ISP deployments. In a compact 162 × 84 × 37 mm (6.4 × 3.3 × 1.5") UV-stabilised plastic enclosure weighing just 250 g (8.8 oz), the R5AC-Lite connects to any external sector or dish antenna via its (2) RP-SMA waterproof RF connectors. ETSI 300-019-1.4 shock and vibration testing. ±24 kV air/contact ESD/EMP protection. Operating temperature: -40°C to 80°C (-40°F to 176°F). Fully NDAA compliant.

The R5AC-Lite operates across 5150–5875 MHz worldwide delivering 500+ Mbps throughput to 50+ simultaneous clients using airMAX AC technology. The dedicated spectral analysis radio enables real-time RF environment monitoring without disrupting link traffic. Powered via passive PoE 2-pair at 8.5W maximum (20–27V DC) with included 24V, 0.5A gigabit PoE adapter. Power, LAN, and (4) signal strength LEDs.
