A TV, set-top box, or desk-mounted device can be wired directly into the unit, removing the need for a separate in-room switch and extra cabling back to a wiring closet.
WiFi 7 sized for a single room, not a whole floor With 4 spatial streams across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, a rated coverage area of 115 m² (1,250 ft²), and support for 200+ connected devices, the U7 In-Wall is scoped appropriately for a hotel room, apartment, or small office rather than a large open space, which keeps cost and power draw proportionate to the deployment.
Flexible power options for retrofit installs The unit accepts standard PoE, with PoE+ required if PoE output to a connected device is needed. This gives some flexibility in buildings where the existing cabling and switch infrastructure varies from room to room, which is common in renovation and retrofit hospitality projects.
Guest-ready out of the box Built-in captive portal support, including custom branded landing pages, voucher authentication, and payment-based authentication, suits hotels and short-stay accommodation that need to present guests with a branded WiFi login rather than a generic network prompt.
