RG-NBF2100S-8GT1SC 1G Layer 2 Cloud Managed Non-PoE Switch

The RG-NBF2100S Series are intelligent Gigabit managed optical access switches (ONU) with PON support engineered for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), enterprise fiber access, and cloud-managed PON deployments. Available in three models: RG-NBF2100S-8GT1SC (8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, non-PoE), RG-NBF2100S-8GT1SC-P (8 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 120W PoE+), and RG-NBF2100S-16GT1SC-P (16 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 240W PoE+), all featuring 1 × 1G SC fiber uplink port for PON connectivity, switching capacity of 18 Gbps (8-port models) or 34 Gbps (16-port model), forwarding rates of 13.392 Mpps (8-port) or 25.296 Mpps (16-port). PON support enables seamless integration with GPON/EPON fiber networks, delivering up to 997 Mbps downlink bandwidth and >=900 Mbps uplink bandwidth for high-performance fiber access. PoE+ models support IEEE 802.3af/at with maximum 30W per port, 120W total budget (8-port PoE model) or 240W total budget (16-port PoE model) for powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points over fiber networks.

The RG-NBF2100S Series features advanced PON capabilities including Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) for efficient bandwidth management, Static Bandwidth Allocation (SBA), maximum bandwidth allocation for ONUs, and minimum 10 Mbps uplink bandwidth guarantee with remote management via Ruijie Reyee mobile app and Ruijie Cloud platform for centralized monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) provides real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, current, Rx power, and Tx power for proactive fiber link maintenance. Advanced features include remote port reboot, remote switch reboot, VLAN assignment (up to 16 VLANs), port isolation/protected ports, port mirroring, and DHCP Snooping for secure, managed network access. Recommended limits: 100 concurrent clients, 50 × 2MP H.265 cameras or 25 × 4MP H.265 cameras ensure optimal performance for surveillance and enterprise applications. Port surge protection (6 kV common mode), green/green LED indicators for system status, LINK/ACT, and port activity ensure reliable operation and easy troubleshooting.

Operating across temperature ranges of 0°C to 45°C for non-PoE/16-port models or 0°C to 40°C for 8-port PoE model, 10-90% RH humidity (non-condensing) supports diverse deployment environments across Kenya, Uganda, and East Africa. Desktop mounting for 8-port models, desktop or rack mounting for 16-port model provides flexible installation options. Fanless design for 8-port models ensures silent operation, single fan for 16-port model. Cloud-managed ONU switches eliminate complex configuration while providing enterprise-grade features and remote troubleshooting capabilities. Reset button enables easy factory defaults, system LED and port LEDs provide at-a-glance status monitoring.
