The U7 Pro Max (U7-Pro-Max) is a ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 access point designed for demanding, large-scale wireless deployments. This tri-band WiFi 7 AP features 8 spatial streams (2x2 MU-MIMO on 6 GHz, 4x4 on 5 GHz, 2x2 on 2.4 GHz) delivering up to 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz (BW320), 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW240), and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). The integrated antennas provide 5.9 dBi gain (6 GHz), 6 dBi gain (5 GHz), and 4 dBi gain (2.4 GHz) for 160 m² (1,750 ft²) coverage.
The U7 Pro Max supports 500+ simultaneous connected devices with 802.11be (WiFi 7) and backward compatibility with WiFi 6/6E/5/4 standards. The dedicated spectral scanning engine provides real-time spectral analysis for enhanced channel selection, optimizing network performance in congested RF environments. 6 GHz operation (supported in select countries) delivers interference-free performance with EHT 320 MHz channel bandwidth. Multi-Link Operation (MLO) capability coming soon via software update will enable simultaneous multi-band connections. PoE+ powered (44-57V DC, 25W max) enables deployment with 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 uplink.
Operating temperature range of -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F) and 5-95% humidity tolerance support diverse installation environments. Max TX power of 23 dBm (6 GHz), 29 dBm (5 GHz), and 23 dBm (2.4 GHz) provides reliable coverage. Advanced features include wireless meshing, band steering, 802.11v/r/k support, Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0), captive portal, PPSK, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and 8 BSSIDs per radio. Channel bandwidth support includes HT 20/40, VHT 20/40/80/160, HE 20/40/80/160, EHT 20/40/80/160/240/320 MHz. Pro Mount included with polycarbonate and aluminum construction. UniFi Network version 8.2.93+ provides centralized management.
