N-SW (NanoSwitch) is an
outdoor weather-resistant 4-port Gigabit PoE switch purpose-built for outdoor network expansion in East African environments where indoor switches cannot be deployed. Measuring
196 × 93 × 32 mm (7.7 × 3.7 × 1.3") and weighing just
269 g (9.5 oz), the NanoSwitch features a
white polycarbonate weather-resistant enclosure and delivers
4 Gbps total non-blocking line rate across all four ports. Powered via
24V passive 2-pair PoE input (21.6–30V) from a separately purchased POE-24-30W-G PoE adapter — enabling deployment wherever a single PoE cable can reach without requiring a separate power source.
The
N-SW provides
(1) GbE RJ45 PoE-in port and (3) GbE RJ45 PoE passthrough output ports — each delivering
24V, 2-pair, 1A (24W) passive PoE — powering cameras, access points, and other outdoor PoE devices directly from the switch.
±24kV ESD/EMP protection on both air and contact safeguards all connected equipment against lightning-induced surges in exposed East African outdoor deployments. The extreme
operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C (-22°F to 158°F) handles the full spectrum of East African outdoor environments.
